QUANTAS Ethics Policy

Our Ethics Policy was created based on what we value and practice. We cultivate solid and lasting relationships, and that is why we adopt a responsible stance towards society, considering the following fundamental principles:

 

1. Human Relations, Inclusion and Diversity

  1. All employees, vendors, and clients must be treated cordially and respectfully, regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, hierarchical position, etc;
  2. Everyone must be welcomed with their different profiles and singularities and diversity should be the tool for individual and work development;
  3. We will not tolerate attitudes that provoke any type of embarrassment or that compromise the well-being of the individuals or of the workplace;

 

2. Respect for the law and contracts

    1. Contracts with clients and vendors must be reciprocally respected to reflect what they propose;
    2. Contracts must be signed by the legitimate representatives of the companies we have relationships with;
    3. The laws of Brazil or of the country where we may be operating must be obeyed, with the most restrictive laws always prevailing;

 

3. Anticorruption Principles and Conflict of Interests

      1. International anticorruption standards must be observed;
      2. No employee, vendor, or representative can, under any circumstances, offer or accept advantages or benefits, actively or passively, from any agents of the public or private sector;
      3. Clients’ and vendors’ anticorruption policies must be rigorously observed;
      4. Private relationships with clients or vendors must be disclosed to QUANTAS;
      5. We work and present findings impartially and independently.

 

4. Confidentiality and Integrity

Confidentiality: We rigorously protect the privacy and data, including personal data, of all our clients, partners, and research participants.

Integrity: We bring honesty and justice into all our activities and avoid any type of deception or fraud.

        1. All employees and vendors that have access to proprietary data from QUANTAS or QUANTAS clients must sign and fully observe the Terms of Confidentiality;
        2. The information is kept in a secure environment that has restricted access;

 

5. Transparency

        1. We keep open and honest communication with our clients, research participants, and stakeholders.
        2. Our relationship with clients and vendors is always guided by transparency and honesty.
        3. All documents must clearly and accurately express what they intend to document;
        4. All presented information and findings must fully correspond to the truth and the reality of the facts;
        5. All information given to clients or authorities must be direct and clear, without ambiguity that might lead to different interpretations;
        6. Anyone who becomes aware of an illegal activity or fraud, be it in a document, procedure, or verbal communication, must immediately report it to QUANTAS’s management.

 

6. Free Competition

        1. We do not exchange business information with competitors, nor do we address topics that might be interpreted as harmful to free competition;
        2. We do not offer privileged information to vendors or clients, and we encourage healthy competition among them.

 

7. Professional Conduct – Compliance

  • Precision and Honest Results: We guarantee that all collected information and data is precise, impartial, and presented in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Informed Consent: We obtain explicit consent from our research participants before we collect any data and clearly inform them about our objectives and how we will use the information.
  • Legal Compliance: We comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to data protection and privacy.
  • Independence and Impartiality: We maintain independence and impartiality in our analyses and conclusions.

 

8. Responsibility Towards our Clients – Quality

  • Clear and Transparent Communication: We keep our clients informed about the progress of the research, any challenges that might arise, and the implemented solutions. 
  • Confidentiality of Client Information: We protect our clients’ confidential information with the same rigor we apply to the data of research participants.

 

9. Training – Development

  • Training: We offer training to our employees to ensure they are up-to-date with the best practices and ethical standards in the area of market research.
  • Culture of Ethics: We promote a culture of ethics and responsibility inside the company by encouraging all employees to follow the principles and guidelines established in this code.

 

10. Reports of Violations and Complaints – Access

  • Whistleblower Channel: We have available a safe and confidential channel where employees and third parties can report any violation to this code (+55 11 99200-0261).
  • Impartial Investigations: All reports and complaints will be investigated impartially and rigorously, and whistleblowers will be protected.

QUANTAS takes this Code of Conduct and Ethics very seriously. Any violation of the guidelines established here may lead to a warning, suspension, or termination, depending on the severity of the infraction. Corrective actions will be applied fairly and according to internal procedures.
